CERT

The Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Emergency Managment Association (FEMA) allocated finds to train citizens in disaster preparedness, hazmat, fire suppression, first aid, triage, and search and rescue.  The skills of the Cedarville CERT team will be used to assist the Cedarvile Township Volunteer Fire Department when a disaster strikes and local resources are limited.  The Cedarville CERT team is a branch of the Greene County EMA.  CTVFD would like to thank those who have dedicated their time and resources to be a part of the local CERT team.  Anyone interested in becoming a part of the Cedarville CERT team should contact Chief Scott Baldwin.  Certification classes will be offered on an interest basis.
