equipment in the compartments of each truck. Knowledge of equipment
location is needed to be checked off as a rider on each truck. This page
does not take the place of going through each truck with knowledgeable person to
learn specific locations and operations of truck equipment. The location of some equipment is
subject to change so it recommended that you thoroughly look through each
vehicle before you test off on each truck.

Brush 11 Training
Brush 11 serves as the first out unit for any brush and wildland
fires. The primary function of a rider on Brush 11 is to conduct a brush
fire attack and run the pump on the truck. On structural fires or
larger incidents, Brush 11 may serve to transport personnel and/or equipment
to the fire scene.

Engine 11 Training
Engine 11 is the first out unit on fire calls in Cedarville Township. Depending on the
nature of the call, the primary function of a rider on Engine 11 is to mitigate
or eliminate life safety hazards or fire hazards.

Ladder 11 Training
Ladder 11 serves as a ladder truck for high-rise, or roof operations.
Depending on the incident, a rider on Ladder 11 may be responsible for ladder
and roof operations or tasks designated by incident command.

Medic 11 Training
The primary function of a rider on Medic 11 is to assist in providing EMS
coverage on calls. Medic 11 typically responds alone on EMS only
calls. On fire calls, Medic 11 will act as an active or stand-by ALS/BLS
unit or a way to get more personnel to the scene.

Medic 13 Training
The primary function of a rider on Medic 13 is to assist in providing EMS
coverage on calls. Medic 13 typically responds alone on EMS only
calls. On fire calls, Medic 13 will act as an active or stand-by ALS/BLS
unit or a way to get more personnel to the scene.

Rescue 11 Training
Rescue 11 serves as a rescue truck carrying miscellaneous equipment for
various types of calls. A rider on this truck may be responsible for
refilling air packs or any other task as designated by incident command.

Tanker 11 Training
Tanker 11 is the first out tanker from Cedarville. The primary
function of a rider on Tanker 11 is to assist in water shuttling operations,
assisting in tanker filling/emptying operations, hose laying operations or
general fire ground duties as designated by incident command.

function of a rider on Tanker 13 is to assist in water shuttling operations,
